Outstanding Film Events for Children

We have exceptional events for children over October Half Term this year.  You can see Wes Anderson's chief puppet maker on 3 different occasions:  Sunday 22nd October (Fantastic Mr Fox) at The Rex or 2 chances at his animation workshop at Durlston Castle.  Paul Haynes is also back to lead his stop frame animation workshop based on his experience at Aardman and Postman Pat to name but a few.

Or maybe your budding animators would enjoy a claymation workshop with The Rex's own Dougal Dixon, a local legend and an internationally renowned dinosaur expert (especially in Japan!) - which takes place at the Etches Museum in Kimmeridge. On top of that they get to watch Ice Age: Collision Course at the end.

Director Tim Clague will be coming in person to The Rex to talk about his film shot in Dorset followed by the film screening featuring Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright (aka Ginny Weasley)
