Adapted from Judy Blume’s classic novel and set in 1970 in this film we follow Margaret Simon, a lovely, curious and perceptive 11-year-old who reluctantly moves from New York to New Jersey with her affectionate, cross-religioned parents. This sweet, tender and feel-good coming-of-age comedy is both intelligent and amusing whilst also portraying a complex and charismatic character going through a strange phase in life.
