This Winter, Careys Secret Garden is hosting an exciting 7-week Migration Festival, starting 16th Jan with an ‘Osprey Celebration!’ – a fitting opener for the home of Southern England’s first pair of breeding ospreys in almost 200 years. The second part of their festival is showcasing ‘Diversity in the Countryside’ and with expert guest speakers coming along in-person.
Did you know Careys Secret Garden is the only place in the UK you can view 7 FULL-SIZE pieces of the Berlin Wall?
The Purbeck Film Festival are proud to have been asked to be part of this festival and we will be screening a number of films over the 7 weeks, including family film matinées over Feb Half Term alongside some of their great migration-themed activities children – see their website for events.
In the final weeks they will be welcoming The Sound Approach for a full-day workshop on ‘Learning to speak bird’ plus an evening lecture which we’re hoping to livestream too!
