Held at The Mowlem on Swanage beach, with the bay as its setting, the evening opens with canapรฉs from The Salt Pig and a glass of wine ahead of the screening. This yearโ€™s gala presents the New Zealand drama Tinฤ, marking its first theatrical screening in Britain. We are very grateful to both our main festival sponsors for supporting this event.

Every year this event sells out and this year we have the incredible North Macedonian film DJ Ahmet – a disarming comedy about the role of modern technology in rural society, a portrait of a grieving family, a touching teen romance, and a pulse-pounding tribute to dance festivals.ย  Georgi M. Unkovskiโ€™s feature debut does a lot and does it well.ย  You can watch the film with a free Purbeck Cider.
