It’s the 40th anniversary for this endlessly creative fantasy that brought David Bowie to a new generation as the seductive but ruthless Goblin King. After he steals teen Sarah’s baby brother, she must embark on a quest through his perilous maze. Written by Terry Jones of Monty Python, there is a distinctly British sense of humour alongside Muppet czar Jim Henson’s weird and wonderful creatures and outlandish locations.

Experience the magic of the silver screen in the beautiful grounds of The Blue Pool.
TIMINGS
Film starts 8.00pm (depending on light levels). Gates open at 7.00pm to allow you plenty of time to pick a perfect place to sit, grab a drink and have some food before the film. Premium and Blue Pool members can enter and reserve their seat from 6.30pm.
TICKET
Adult £15 (includes £2.50 booking fee)
Child (under 18) £6.50 (no booking fee)
Family £35 (includes £3 booking fee) - 2 Adults + 2 Children or 1 Adult + 3 Children.
Premium £32.50 (includes £2.50 booking fee) *
Premium - Blue Pool Membership - £30 (includes £2.50 booking fee) *
Blue Pool Member (Adult over 18) - £13.50 (includes £2.50 booking fee)
Blue Pool membership should be valid on the date of the event.

For all venues, advance booking is recommended as tickets sell out in advance very quickly.
FOOD AND DRINK
Licensed bar, hot and cold drinks and hot food will be available to purchase on the night. Only alcohol bought on the premises is allowed but please feel free to bring snacks to enjoy during the film. Unfortunately, there will not be enough space for picnics!
ON THE NIGHT
Dress warmly, bring a blanket, your own seating and a a torch is advised.
Performances are weather dependent but will only be cancelled in extreme circumstances.
VENUE
There is ample parking available on site, free of charge, including 3 accessible parking spaces for Blue Badge Holders.

Cancellations and refunds.
We operate a no refund policy. Your ticket will not be refunded if you are unable to come along to a film screening. If you can demonstrate that your booking was made in error, please email info@purbeckfilm.com at the time of purchase. If it is necessary for Purbeck Film Festival to cancel or stop a film in progress for any reason, all tickets will be refunded or another screening of the film offered where possible.
