This American remake of Sweden’s 2015 A Man Called Ove is a gentle but affecting comedy-drama that pits curmudgeonly Otto against Marisol and the rest of the neighbourhood, in an uplifting tale of the power of hope over despair.
A film with understated humour, an engaging plot, and a great script. Hanks and Treviño are outstanding.
