The Purbeck Shorts Competition

One of our main aims is to offer a prominent showcase for the work of talented new directors from all over the world. For the tenth year we are holding our Short Film Competition (for films of ten minutes or less). Our Call for Entries is through Film Freeway and all entries are scrutinised by a panel which shortlists for the evening’s screenings. Prizes are awarded both by the audience and by the judges who come from local film schools and the BFI or the media industry.
This exciting interactive evening is a firm favourite with audiences who get a chance to debate what makes a good film.
