Ticket to Paradise marks the first time the biggest male star of the 90s (the irrepressibly twinkly George Clooney) and the biggest female star of the 90s (the eternally doe-eyed Julia Roberts) have appeared together in a romantic comedy. Here they are David and Georgia Cotton, who were divorced 20 years ago and still argue every time they meet. However, they must work together when their daughter Lily decides to get married in Bali after a whirlwind romance. A relaxed and easy-going film, Ticket to Paradise also has far more belly laughs than you would expect from your usual romcom.
